Trafficking is the world's third most profitable crime industry, taking multiple shapes and forms that never stop evolving through the times. Today, trafficking is not stereotypically "evil" as abusers can hide behind smiling faces and promises for a better life.
For the communication campaign of Project Activate by KMOP, we created two videos based on real trafficking cases, highlighting the hidden signs of trafficking through the stories of both abusers and victims. The films could be watched in two ways: through the eyes of knowledge or the eyes of indifference. Using the creative vehicle of subtitles, the viewer could discover the harsh reality of trafficking behind each monologue in an interactive (and rather shocking) way.
